David Foulger1 StarRead the reviews before using this company. Advertise a much lower price than the actual cost of the work. The engineer was fast and efficient, the company itself massively misleading.Saturday 23rd March 2024
Dave Cowley1 StarAvoid, avoid avoid! Terrible company, awful angry locksmith if you can call him that! Totally butchered the job, wouldn’t communicate with us, caused damage to a £2000 door that is now going to cost £400 to repair, lodged a complaint but no reply, he had 2 hours on the job and achieved nothing but damage, sent him off the job, I smashed a window, climbed through and boarded up in 25 mins, window replaced for £80 within 21 hours. Smash a window next time over ringing these cowboys it’s far cheaper.
Have to put 1 star to post this but really it’s zero star!
Update. Master Locksmith and company who provided the door cannot gain access, front door has to be cut out and replaced at an estimated cost of £2500, not covered by home insurance because these are a shower of s*&t’s who aren’t under the Master Locksmith Association! Do not use.Wednesday 10th January 2024
Jason1 StarLiterally embarassing from a locksmith got locked out of my van and my keys were in the ignition there is a button on a vauxhall crafter that you can press and it opens the door on the door handle the locksmith instead tries to go for the keys in the ignition snapping the key in the process he then presses the button allowing us into the van and tried to make me pay in which I said hold up you've broken my key and got a piece of it lodged into the ignition can you repair that first before I pay instead he just drove off so I rang the company to which he said he completed the job and the key was already broken so I sent evidence of the key not being broken and got told to wait that was at 10am I've rang in regular intervals it's 5pm now and I finally got given the managers number after being promised that another technician would come out every time I rung so I've spoke to the manager in which he's said how could he have broken the key to which I explained he tried to pull it out of the ignition whilst the ignition was still on he didn't accept that and said if the technician did that I should easily be able to snap a key in my hand and I am just trying to scam them out of money , it makes no sense let be honest they're not accepting liability and that's the end of that I've got a broken key because they cant do there jobs correctly do not go to this locksmith.Sunday 12th May 2024
Nick Meredith3 StarCalled this number as we were locked out of house we had just completed on by the previous owners - so we weren’t paying. First thing to say is that when the locksmith arrived he was efficient and had us in within 2 minutes of payment - so would recommend on that front. However ……
It was more like 90 mins than the 20 claimed.
Despite the website saying there was no call out charge, £49 call out was charged.
£79 to drill the lock - took seconds.
£69 for a new barrel - under £20 to buy one - guess we could have opted out of that but it was getting late and dark.
So £197 all in, a long way from the £49 advertised. When you need a locksmith, they’ve got you over a barrel, but at least we weren’t paying. Like I said, the service was good when he got there, but be prepared to shell out more than you think.Tuesday 19th December 2023
El1 StarDO NOT CALL! Rip off merchants with non existent customer service.
Due to the locksmith not having the correct tools, or knowledge, on how to gain access to my property the most efficient way, I was charged double what I should've been charged, and unecessary damage was caused to my front door/handles resulting in me having to also pay for new door handles.
I have now waited 2 weeks for a call back from a manager to discuss the situation, and to also prevent a bad review being put on their page as I don't like to write bad reviews, but with Rightway's motto being "ignore until the customer goes away", then what other choice does the customer have?
Would most definitely not recommend.Monday 17th July 2023
